Even More Junk

The earlier post wasn't enough... this one will break your heart.

One man's junk...

Everyone loves a good trip to the junkyard, and it is a pretty rare thing today. Imagine 60 years ago, what these junkyards looked like. Oh the humanity! That last one is 1936 in Milwaukee. Hard to believe cars were being so heavily scrapped back then, at least through 2010 eyes. Go ahead, spend the next hour trying to identify all the cars in the piles like we did...

Shop Holiday Party Dec 17, 7pm!

Mark your Calendars! Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle is once again abandoning all discretion in a sincere effort to spread Christmas cheer within the Hot Rod & HAMB community. Please accept our invitation to join us after 7:00 pm on 17th of December for their annual holiday open house.

All of you Friday Night Adult Beverage regulars know the way, so do the SW Chicago HAMB and Eggers but just as a reminder here's where you need to be:

Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle
59 W. Factory Road
Addison, Illinois
630-458-0808

From WEST : Take 355 to North Ave, exit East. When you get to Addison Road (look for the Portillo's on the right), watch for the rail road tracks, then turn left (North). At the first light (Factory Road) turn left (west). We're the 3rd building on the left.

From EAST : Take 290/294 to Rt. 64 Exit (North Ave) and go WEST 3 miles. At Addison Road make a RIGHT and go North to the first signal (Factory Rd). Make a LEFT and it's the 3rd building on the left.

BYOB and a dish to pass. Children are welcome ON THE HAND OF AN ADULT.

Casual or dress up, it's up to you.

Chop it!

A '33 Dodge looks pretty good at stock roof height, but of course that will never do...
